Golden Habanero |
The Golden Habanero is an open pollinated Capsicum chinensis type hot pepper that reaches maturity in approximately 90-100 days after transplanting.
The Golden Habanero has wrinkled fruit tapering to a point and colours
from light green to orange-pink. The Golden Habanero yields fruit which is 5 cm
long with a diameter of 2.5 cm. Very hot and really tasty, give it a go. |
Hotazel |
The Hotazel Chile is an open pollinated Habanero type hot pepper that reaches maturity
in approximately 90-100 days after transplanting. The Hotazel produces a
wrinkled fruit, tapering to a point, colouring from light green to deep red. The
Hotazel Chile is 5 cm long with a diameter of 2.5 cm,The Hotazel plant is extremely
productive and carries the same health warning as the Red Savina. |
Red Savina |
Undoubtedly the hottest chile in the world! It holds the record of 650,000 Scoville
units. This truly is a chile to be scared of. It is a habanero type pepper
similar in appearance to the orange Habanero. Fruits reach maturity approximately
90 days after transplanting. Any chile fan MUST try one of these at least
once in their life. Unbelievably hot, makes fantastic sauces or adds intense
heat to any meal. |
Scotch Bonnet |
The Scotch Bonnet is very closely related to the Habanero chile, Heat level
is 9-10. It has a similar apple-cherry tomato flavour. Like the Habanero, it is
spherical, although rather more squashed in shape and it is smaller, 3.25-4 cm
in diameter. Native to the Caribbean, it is available in the UK in green, yellow,
orange, white, brown and red as well as multi-toned. . 120 days to mature
after transplanting. |
Big Sun |
Big Sun is a Scotch Bonnet type hot pepper that reaches maturity approximately 90-100
days after transplanting. The Big Sun Chilli has a square flat shape with
a dented surface and colours from dark green to bright yellow. The Big Sun has
a length of 5-6 cm and a diameter of 5-6 cm. Each fruit weighs approximately 15
g. Similar to the Golden Habanero, but fights in the heavy-weight division. |
